Sa Huynh salt village

In the summer heat, salt makers in Pho Thanh Commune in the central province of Quang Ngai work very hard in the field to produce the famous salt branded Sa Huynh.

Sa Huynh is located in the southernmost edge of Quang Ngai, in Duc Pho District, 60km from Quang Ngai City. Sa Huynh is the most famous salt-making area in the central region.

The salt season is from March to August. There are about 550 households in Sa Huynh, with about 2,000 people producing salt.
